    Its actually this one. :-

Now, i'm not liking the fact that it has reduced range so can i get recommendations on a respectable "proper" outdoor receiver - cost permitting.
I like the 6110, but the lack of a satellite bothers me a bit.

    However, http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/transm...tml#post486804

"Since then I swapped to the single part AR6100e and its still fine and well tested to as far away as you would want a 450 to go."

    He's a clued-up bloke, and if he's happy with a 6100 in a 450, a 6110 should be fine.

The 6110 is more recent and smarter than the 6200. But I have 6200s in my G5s...

Oh yeah, did I mention static..?

      Affirmative

I'm going to fully rebuild and move the receiver upto the front underneath the battery tray or i'll make some custom brackets for it to sit on but either way cable runs will be different.

Also planning a fully component rebuild and bearing grease again this weekend to avoid static.

New tail servo on the way as well - should receive tomorrow.

Note i switched tail setups a week ago. I have a complete tail boom setup ready to go on but with plastic rear end not the CNC one - this also had the same issue as the CNC one that one there now.

Have to say i hate chassing issues like this, really want to progress forward but feel like i've been held up for weeks

I had a several month static nightmare with a GAUI EP 100 SE Pro - just as I thought I was getting somewhere flying. I swapped absolutely everything, which made no difference. Well, except for occasionally working for a bit, then relapsing.

Then Brin (here) pestered me about graphite paste. Some of this on the belt, and the problem went.

I suspect idler rollers make it worse.

          Morning All

          Its Fixed

I looped a cable from thetail boom squished into the tailboom mount, down the frame and to the engine mount. Hoping that this was suppress either static buildup inside the tailboom or suppress any noise from the motor.

But problem resolved, You knew very quickly if it was going to do it but oh my god so happy its fixed. Already did a few celebratory flips and rolls even if it was FAR too windy hehe.

Still - new tail servo arrives today so will only help everything anyway.

          Cheers everybody
