Just a casual observation, but on the video, I noticed that the as the swash plate moves up and down, so does the flybar cradle. Is that supposed to happen? There is a hole in the sleeve that the flybar assembly is fitted to, that slides up and down over a hole through the mast. Should there be a bolt through it? Forgive me if I am wrong but I know nothing about Blade Heli mechanics.

I thought that too.
the hole doesn't go all the way through so if there is a bolt it must be a tiny one.
I'll try and find out somehow.

If you fixed the flybar cradle to the mast with a bolt then the swash would no longer be able to rise and fall (because it's fixed to the cradle with two rigid links). So you would have no collective control and the servos would stall and burn out... Not good!Originally posted by Granpappy View PostThere is a hole in the sleeve that the flybar assembly is fitted to, that slides up and down over a hole through the mast. I've never built a flybar head (terrible admission to make!) but i'd assume that hole is intended as a reference point for setting the head up.Goblin Kraken, SoXos Strike 7, XLPower Specter, Goblin Black Thunder T, Goblin 700 Speed, Goblin 770 Comp Carbon, Trex 700X, Kasama Dune, Henseleit TDR

Ok so it's all good then. one of the servos is making a buzzing noise at full pitch. Does that mean i need to adjust the swatch so it's in a different position?
I made it straight with the zip tie method and it looks spot on.Trex 450L Dominator (flown six times crashed twice)
