What date is the MK Flyin?????

As helimasters is on UBF Events list as 5th - 7th July???

Be gutted if this is a clash as i was hoping to goto Helimasters but wouldn't want to miss MK

I thought MK was always on the following weekend???

To the MK team, would there be any chance of postponing till the weekend after????

Im in too.....but clashing with heli masters is surely not a good move!?

I've been in the hobby about 4 years or so and I must be living in blissful ignorance, never once heard of Heli Masters. The Masters yes but not the Heli Masters, We always have the first weekend in July, it's never changed so it's not done on a whim I'm afraid it's sort of tradition.

I've just had a look and it's a German comp that's normally held in September so why would we even consider it, they're having another competition in Venlo in July on our weekend. I think they should have looked at the dates and avoided a clash with us Shame that it clashes and some of our great friends won't be able to attend but what do we do. As I said earlier I'll mention it to the committee at the weekend as we have a meeting and see what happens.

It's some small event going on at Venlo in Holland Dave. It's not as important as the MK fly in.

Fortunately the Grand Prix is the weekend before, but I agree, we've been on that weekend forever and it is not an easy thing to move around, but there is a committee meeting this weekend so I'm sure it will be discussed.

Pilots and sponsors alike are switching over.

Thanks Rob, I've never even heard of it and theres scant info apart from dates. Why do you think it will be replacing the masters is it a 3DX event or something different. Seems odd for Venlo to be doing both divided loyalties and all that

Come on Dave get upto speed! I thought it was always a problem not to clash with others in the UK let alone the world! The problem as I see it that IF the MK Heli Club can move the date then there will probably be others that cannot attend. I think the Helimasters spotted the MK Heli Club funfly and thought thats a good weekend to have ours as the MK Club always gets a great turnout!
Lets hope everyone can be accomodated.

As per robgt im also hearing that the heli master is gonna be the new masters.....rumour has it alot of big brands are said to not be bothering with 3d masters!

Date Change 13th and 14th of July

Guys and girls after careful consideration MK Heli Club have decided to change the date of our Flyin to the weekend following the HeliMasters event. The event will now be held on the 13th and 14th of July 2013.

We are sorry if this has inconvenienced those that may have already booked accomodation and holiday for the Friday, but with the HeliMasters event showing great promise and a lot of the UK pilots entering, it made no sense to continue with the original dates.
