      Oh and a question for the mods, Since when has it been a 15 image per post limit?? Never encountered that before.

                I swear if I dont get chance to get to the field to fly soon im gonna murder someone!! But atleast im gettin on with the Van eh?......

                Today ive stripped the rear beam down, reconed the springs, u-bolts, spring plates, shock mounts. Just need my spring brackets now and I can re-fabricate the beam to sit the proper side of the springs so it doesnt resemble a 4x4. Ive also got cossie rear brakes on the way with appropriate mounting brackets. so will have plenty of rear stoppage. Im gonna be running evo front Brembos and 320mm discs up front aswell so brakes will be more than adequate! LOL

                  'Ning subjects

                  Been busy bee today. Wanted a lie in but me Saturday job rang up with a breakdown on one of the boats so I got up early and was in twiddly mode. So rear have been removed of the stubs, the beam wire brushed and welded one of the new spring seat brackets on. I would have welded 2 on but me like a moron only ordered 1 and not a pair. Yes I am a di%$head!! I alse wire brushed up the hubs and rust reated everything like normal. And then painted the hubs in wheel silver, and the beam in stonechip black, so it stays looking good for a bit longer.

                  I aim to have the beam back in the car by tomorrow weather depending, so I can then get the axle stands UNDER the axle and then itll be a bit more secure to work on as its quite precariously balanced atm. Onto the evidence!!

                        how much are the magnesium wheels kev? as if they are o.z magnesiums they will be silly money and IF they are off one of mcraes cars youd probably be able to buy a brand new van from ford for similar money lol

                          the five spoke ones used for tarmac rallying. theyre a bit beat up and will need refurbing, but im gonna be paying £300 for 4 tatty wheels.

                            Nice wheel kev ,if they are a genuine ex wrc wheel id be having them xrayed/tested before having them renovated mate, wont be cheap having magnesium wheels renovated correctly , id be questioning the colin mcrae claim bud for £300!! think the wrc focus was prepared by m-sport so might be worth giving them a call about the wheels!
