just get it bored out, fit twin 40's on it, a full race cam (road cams are for girls)
and the must have cherry bomb to make it sound loverly :biggrinjester:




i think (oh that hurts) the racing van should have a twin turbo'd cossie lump
with ka brakes (stopping is for puffs)
and super fandango wide wheels (you've got to be old to remember them on the tv ad)

Cant find a cosworth YB engine for love nor money Sceadu! That was my first choice.

I could turbocharge the i4 engine if I felt inclined, I just think for ease of use, and tuning scope will be easier to run it on carbs.

It will fit with room to spare, but id only go rwd for a YB.

Anyways todays update, all welding done, all rust removed and treated, and primer on the bare metal areas. And underseal under the cargo area, and all seams properly sealed.

again no pics cos im dying with back pain and cba till tomorrow. Sorry about that, dont report me for it.......

Righto piccy time!! just to recap, ive welded plates on all the holes. Seam sealed all the joints, also seam sealed the joints where the cargo bay panels join to stop water ingress (not done at factory) I've fully undersealed the cargo area and rear crossmember.

Also ive wire brushed all the rust from inside the cab and engine bay, treated the rust with rust remover, and zinc primed the problem sots inside the cab and under the front arches. Engine bay has had first coat of Rosso red. Not bothered priming and painting under here as its generally red anyway, so just a light tickle with the emery paper and straight on with the colour. I will give it another coat tomorrow, and then when I shoot the body itll get another coat. So will be a nice deep glossy red.
