lol, it's changed colour, declared as registered earlier than 86 & is an import & not a UK model as specified:( Ebay dispute:boxing_smiley:

Gutted for you mate. Hope you get it sorted. Non UK (Jap and USA) have less power due to the emissions stuff on the carbs and different cams.

Nah mines fine, it's a UK model so full power. I pick it up tomorow after work :hurray: I'm all exited & cleared a space in the garage for it until i get more stuff out the garage so i can work on it (be great when we get the garage rebuilt & extended so i can put a bench in there)

                Roll on tomorow afternoon.

Woop woop!! it's in MY garage now :hurray:. I checked & the frame # starts with a G so i guess it's a G then. It is sooooo dirty  :ack2: but it's workshop dust & greasyness so but under that it's nice. It's gonna take a lot of hot soapy water, G3, Autosol, & Autoglym to get it clean. A guy at work has a workshop manual i can have, possibly an airbox & chain & sproket too.:)

:)That'll be a result if he's got a sound stock airbox for it, chain & sprockets you can get anywhere but the airbox isn't so easy to come by.:)

I gave it a wash earlier so i can sit on it & touch it without getting covered in crap. I hooked up a car battery & everything works & it turns over too. I can see a lot of carbon on top of the pistons & i don't know if it's worth stripping the head & giving the pistons, valves etc a polish but that'll cost me a fair bit for a top end gasket kit. I tested for a spark but i think i was using a dead plug (a VERY old BR9ES out of my old LC) or it's the coil?? I'll try new plugs.

It will be a result if he has an airbox but failing all else there's always here that supplies geniune slabby parts

Took the pipe off & the carbs for cleaning. I can get all over the crank case now, & the front of the swinging arm with cleaner, & polish. I was gona take a pic before i washed it yesterday but couldn't be arsed to grab the camera. I noticed the bleed nipple is missing from the right hand caliper. I shall get some anodised exhaust bolts before i re install the pipe. I need new bolts anyhow as there's a few missing.

I hope it is missing and not snapped off?
could be a right pain to get out as brake fluild does make things rust.
                          good luck

to get a broken bleed screw out you need
                                a heat gun
                                easy outs
                                and a few
