Proberly 70% less and 30% with bar, IMO I think everyone should learn to fly with the a flybar first, as I think it take away a bit of the learning experience.

        Yes i agree.
I have been considering changing my 600 but then ask myself if its worth the effort, its a great helicopter already maybe its best to just leave it alone and buy another helicopter.have another just incase i regret it

Out of 9 helis, I only have one FB model (hopefully to be converted to FBL in the next few weeks).
I have nothing against FB machine, I just prefer the way FBL flys ;-)

Only just recently I built a heli that is FBL right from the start (Beam Avantgarde). All my others have begun life with a flybar. Only one other is currently flybarless (Trex 500 with BeastX ver 2).

I am using a Total-G on the Beam and I think it's great so far but as I look around the room I cannot see another heli that I am keen to convert. All my others fly very well with their flybarred heads.

The only thing in the back of my mind that may become a project is to take an older 'classic' like the Robbe Milli2 and convert it to electric and flybarless, just for that mix of the old and the new. The others will happily stay flybarred.

There was a time when I kept thinking 'oh I must try a VBar, or a Vortex, etc. etc.' but now I am quite content leaving everything right where it is.

All bar my MCPX are flybarred.
IMO - why waste time confusing myself over FBL setup and programming FBL units etc, when I can learn the mechanical way to start with, and progress at a later date. Another fellow newbie has said he is so confused over FBL setup - someone has to take a laptop to the field etc to help him out.... can't be bothered with that.
                      YET.

                      Just my opinions

For competition i understand its a good idea to ditch the flybar.
That's why ill get a kds600 .but for fun my 600 is cool.

                        Cheers Craig

Fbl for me all the way. Learnt to fly with paddles but after experiencing Fbl with my 600 there is no going back, you should try a Fbl 600 Craig and then go back to your flybar, it's like night and day.

Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
