If we had enough people camping on Saturday we could organise a BBQ as we have 2 large ones (ooh-err misses). If anyone is interested please let me know.

A team of us have been at the field today making it look great for you all........we just need to keep hold of this sun!!

Fastlads have very kindly joined the list of sponsors who have provided things for us to give away so the list grows and includes Midland Helicopters, Optifuel, CSM, Desire RC, Model Helicopter World, Horizon, Rotorwold, JR MacGregor, Robbe UK and Fastlads.

Just checked the weather forecast and it's going to be around 18-19 degrees both days with wind in single digits. Prolonged sunny spells both days so do remember a hat or lotion or both......you have been warned!

Look forward to seeing you Neil.

Hi Dave, yes.....it was fun filming your heli from my heaxacopter. I'm hoping a couple of guys would be prepared to let me fly around them while doing something like a piro flip......that would look amazing from an aerial camera sat above them. I also want to get some film from above of a large nitro heli in an inverted hover. Im hoping Jason Platts turns up as I'm sure he'd be up for it.....Jason....are you coming????

As most of you probably know, our fly-in has a reputation for having a huge raffle with some amazing prizes and we have given away £1000's of prizes in the past even including a Logo and a Shrimok kit. Of course, this can only be done with the very generous support of some amazing sponsors and in this current economic down turn, you could fairly anticipate that they would have to be making cut backs......but oh no!

                        Our sponsors have all stepped up yet again to give us even more than ever before and I am simply amazed at what they have done and thought I should highlight the commitment we have so far as they truly deserve all the praise we could give them;

                        OPTIFUEL
                        - 4 GALLONS OF FUEL, 2 FLIGHT BATTERIES AND 4 RX BATTERIES
JR MACGREGOR - A VIBE 50 NEX FBL KIT
                        ROTORWORLD - MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION
                        CSM - SL720 GYRO AND A CARBSMART
MODEL HELICOPTER WORLD - MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION
DESIRE RC - SIM STICK V2 INCLUDING RX
FASTLADS - RAVE 450 COMBO, 3 BLADE SETS, ESC'S PLUS LOADS OF OTHER STUFF
                        REVOLUTION MODELS - NHP BLADES
                        HORIZON MODELS - TBA
                        ROBBE UK - TBA
                        MIDLAND HELICOPTERS - TBA

For those of you who came last year you will remember Robbe's prize was a Trex 450 combo, Horizon gave 2 x MCPX's and 2 Blade CX micro helis and Trevor at Midland donated a Logo 600, so you can expect these guys will also be offering some amazing prizes/surprises which will be arriving later this week.

I know the weekend is about the flying and getting together, but what these guys are doing to make it a special weekend sure deserve some special recognition and I hope you all turn out to enjoy the weather, the flying, a warm welcome and these awesome prizes. For those who buy a ticket on Saturday but can't make the Sunday draw, a prize will be chosen on your behalf and sent to you by post.

I hope to see you all there and will look forward to handing out or sending out some amazing goodies so to all our sponsors and supporters....THANKS, you rock!
