Belt will only come off if the belt is not tight enough Ady. You don't very often see Kyle Dhals belts come off and I'm pretty sure he's flying harder than most!

I did a bit of research and it seems you shouldnt use full throw on the logo tail as it will give you so much angle on the blades there is a possibility of them stalling. Read this from Mikado, scroll down to the tail section:

Mechanical setup | VStabi

You would be able to tell if they stall as it makes a peculiar noise and you lose tail hold very briefly, the motor bogged too.

How tight is your belt? How do you tension it? I suspend the heli from the tail with the tail box loose, the weight of the heli provides enough tension. Not too loose, not too tight.

thanks matt , will try that next time , belt was tight enough , i use a boom clamp to stop it slacking off , george , cheeky , and as for maj , belts hold ya trousers up

the weekends destruction was a nose going left piro , both times for me , it was piro`in left

Not much tbh, bottom plate/boom/ main gear/a first gear for an s9351 and another jive slave lead. I have been getting bits slowly just not had the impetus to sit down and fix it lol.
I will order the bits tonight cheers

I am a big pansy like the OP.

I am much bolder with the 130 and the 450 than with the 600, entirely because I know that it is much more expensive to repair. ( I crash quite a lot and funds are a bit limited).

I am getting a little less nervous with it as my ability improves (very slowly).

Doubt you're useless Ady.......crazy maybe but not useless! Going to have to visit the show ground this time home I think, home in a few days so you should have one of your helis back together then. If you could try not to crash before I get to come up there though Ady that'd be good!!

Thanks G but really not necessary mate, I have done the worst ie canopy and blades and its been more a case of cant be arsed than can't afford lol
Normally I have a stash of spares but one crash too many and all that haha.

For me there is a fine line between pushing myself and getting away with it and pushing myself and not ! I sold my 450 because I was way too complacent with it and it would end in me planting it most outings. With the 600 I have no fear but I'm a little more respectful of it so it seems to work for me.
