Quick question if I may..
I have just been testing some servos on the bench with a spekky AR8000 and a DX8.
Picked a spare model, did the bind, which looked fine - orange RX light flashed, then went solid.
But no response at all from the servos, although they were obviously getting a signal as they moved to centre and resist being moved by hand, just no response to the sticks.
Repeated a few times with no luck.
Then I plugged in a sat, did the bind again (both orange lights flash then solid) - and now the servos respond just fine.
Is this expected behavoir? Is it normal to bind OK without a sat but not respond? Some fail-safe mechanism?
Or just something I have overlooked / forgotten....
Cheers all
