Phoenix is ok but is getting very over crowded now which is why I've moved on to another club their fees are only £56 a year & they have a 7 1/2 acre field with no Tree of Doom
or Ross's tree as its become known
Ah - I never said they were free! But access to a kettle, Phoenix sim etc. and a toilet(!) make for a comfortable day's flying! The tree just separates the men from the boys!

£49 including BMFA gives me access to 2 sites, main site being a 100yd runway 1km away from any body to annoy, only down side is closed from end of October to en of january, but we have the 2nd site for then

also membership to the Paul heckles club - FREE, but can only fly sundays or when the customers have gone home in the summer, but great facilities and a pretty good club instructor

            Just Helis John yes mate.

We just have about 8 members who can fly anytime they like so long as I am there.

that means anytime subject to a phone call.

Fiver a day is ok until you go over there 4 or five times a week it soon adds up...and its no good if you just want too have a quick fly in the evening or early mornings...the fields and clubs do seem to be the cheapest item we have in this hobby......
