When the esc goes in the motor wires do have to point to the back. This means that the esc servo wire is too short to reach an AR7200BX of mounted behind the anti-rotation device. Checking my parts I find Larry (450X) has donated an extension lead for the servo. All is good again.

Note that the motor wires and two front servos make the battery holder a tight fit. Make SURE the motor wires are not touching the motor.

All done now bar mounting and wiring the AR7200Bx. Then the fun starts, setting it all up.

Well I've just woke up gonna have a brew and then get cracking

I stayed up a lil longer and managed to get the tail boom mounted ... And then started to make the wiring look pretty !!!! Bad idea lol ..as having never wired a fly barred heli all these wires for the fly barless confused the bejeseus out of me lol !!!
        Any tips on wiring !!!

And yeas those battery trays are a very snug fit to say the least

I'm trying to sneak my wires inside and under the anti-rotation bracket since my controller is going on top of it. To be honest, so long as it looks neat I don't really care if it's not hidden.

The wiring isn't that neat as where the controller lives the servo wires only just reach. The servo arm is also in the way so more mm's are taken up in giving clearance.

I'd hate to work on a 250 :horror:

Damn, the 450 swash leveller I got for the 450X doesn't stretch to an Align swash - it's too short in the arms and also hits the inner swash balls.

The Align one has a grub screw for inserts so I'm turning the old one down to fit as a sleeve:

On opening the box there are more boxes that neatly mesh together. You can see that there is thought and pride behind this product from the packaging to the parts. The whole Align experience, to me, is just so neat, so right.

                    YYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                    Newton flies.

This time through the BeastX setup was a doddle. followed the book and only had to do it once.

Everything ready. Newton and me walk/get carried pridefully and with purpose down the garden path.

Put Newton down and stand back. Realise I can't see him from the seafront so go back to the garden.

Push the throttle stick forward and the soft-start kicks in and Newton winds up to speed. Already he sounds more powerful than the Blade 450X.

He's up to speed, continue to push the throttle stick forward and Newton lifts as gracefully as a bumblebee lifting into a hover. Stability is amazing! I thought the 450X was good but this things slung a couple of skyhooks out and is just hanging there. So-weet!

I'm so happy. Can't wait to fly him later on.

That was quick. Nice one!! Keep and eye on the feather shaft bolt tightness. My one had some cutting fluid left and a bolt backed out. Lucky I check as part of my pre flight.

if you check your "old" thread building Harry (I mean 500 one) I attached there a picture of my wiring on 450 pro, much neater but you can only do it this way with one side off.
