I did have a look last night Dave, i didnt hook my beast x up though yet so couldnt see the parameters screen. are there more things to adjust or the same as if you were doing it through the unit?

No there is more. You can adjust every component of the flight behaviour to your liking. The user setting in the parameter menu is where this is configured. Rather than settle for one of their presets you can adjust to your hearts content. The tail asymetry is where you can change the serv speed to fine tune the stops. They haven't really published a set of guidelines but most of it is self explanatory

I'm so looking forward to it. I swapped it for the Fusion with one of the members on here. Me being me, I'll strip it and rebuild although I could have gone straight to the field. It's flybarred but maj was selling a BeastX which I couldn't resist so it won't see the air in it's current state. It'll be fbl before the middle of the week hopefully

hmm, maybe i should butt out
i have the ar7200bx and i don't think it has settings for micro adjustment for acceleration? i definitely don't think it has hookups for usb to pc.
yes it's an align 500 pro efl it's on
i shortened link rods to give it more pitch early tonight after reading this thread. still overshooting (i'm using 85% throttle)

hmmm, not sure what to suggest tbh, other than keep shortening it, if it gets worse then lengthen it, it depends whether your tail is leading or trailing edge controlled. What heli is it?Originally posted by muscleflex View Post

Hi I have both , I love the techie pc side of the vbar and the logs. I flew two identical 700e,s one on each The beast x one is my fave and just suited the 700e I had the sliders for the vbar in lots of diffrent setting but it never felt like the beast. The v bar one would do funnels with ease and piros on the spot as the beast took a bit of stick work but everthing else just felt right on the beast like old slippers not old hooters !!!. The vbar felt like the beast with pitch boost on which i never liked ( good for tick tocks but that was it). I have just got a goblin and have decided to use the Vbar on that with a scorpion ESC using the gov feature I thing it may suit the goblin better as its got a next d scorp motor so should be a bit more spirited. I am going to keep playing with the v bar untill it feels right there has got to be some settings that suit me. I keep hearing how good it is so I am going to to keep going with it untill it suits my flying . I've had both, but I've swapped out my beasts for vbars now purely cos I like the feel of the vbar, I can't explain it as the beast did everything well also but it's just a feel that instills confidence.sigpic
