Beastx vs vbar

Well my V Bar is on the 7HV, had a test flight with it and what can i say, boy ive been missing out on some thing there, they are the nuts

i was asked did i feel a difference between the beastx and now the v bar ????

well the only way i can explain is : i love a pair of 40yr old floppy HOOTERS but id rather play with a nice 20 yr old firm pair lov them both but the 20 yr old ones win every time pmsl

this is just a bit of fun as i have still got beastx and vbar

I still think the beastx unit is excellent, yes it cant hold a piro like a vbar can but for the money is awesome, i run one vbar and 2 ar7200bx units and with the pitch boost and cyclic responces set on high it can move my DFC around very fast

Yep same thoughts here. Beastx cant hold a candle to the Vbars piro consistency, but apart from that its awesome. They are both very good systems.

I find it funny that in all the years a Heading hold gyro has been out, that the biggest problem with mid range Flybarless controllers is the poor tail. What gives!!!!

Brain is same price as Beast and the piro consistency is better than vbar from what I have experienced. Almost no drift at all! A-mazing. Vbar is still the better all round package but it's early days for Brain and so much potential it boggles the mind.

My ar7200bx overshoots tail on right I can't get rid of it. The tail stops on left is crisp and firm but overshoots on right

Glad you like it Ron. Simple to set up arent they then they just work.

Then its a case of tweaking to suit from then but once you have done 1 or 2 you generally find you can tweak before the maiden and its perfect

You need to adjust the tail pushrod to even it out.

i already have but it's not done anything. do i need to adjust the pushrod to give more pitch?
i don't know what's causing the overshooting. is it because of lack of travel? or too much travel?

Is it an align model? if it is and your stops are overshooting on a right piro then you need to lengthen your control rod a couple/three turns. That should even the stops out then you need to reset your tail endpoints. once youve done that then you can adjust pot 3 (tail dynamics) till the stops are crisp with no bounce.

You can also use the micro settings software to adjust the acceleration (or tail Asymmetry) in order to even out the stops

I know, but it's the smallest software package you've ever seen. Really tidy and effective, no sliders etc to worry about.
