    You can't get away from physics... bigger= more mass = greater kinetic energy on impact = more ££ = more folk scared to fly their big birds hard = no point owning it.

    Well until someone figures out how to block the interaction of higgs bosons and the higgs field and give us mass-less crashes....

      We have three Xxtremes at Boxhill! But I agree it's more of a fashion statement at the moment than something really practical. What makes more sense is the size inbetween the 600 and 700, the new '630's etc. where you have pretty much a similar flying characteristic but not having to lug all the weight around, or 7 cell LiPos etc.

      Although, I have not flown an 800, so maybe I'd change my mind.
