What Dan said. Instead of developing massive and pointless (for time being) helis, reputable companies could think about 130 size

I'd love a high performance micro raptor.

This indeed looks like longer boom version.

I agree, company's need to see that the reason why HH are becoming so popular is because of their ability to release small, affordable models that are pocket rockets!!

I dont think stretching a 700 will have the same feeling when flying in the air tbh.

The Xxtreme and the Shape 8 will be in a class of their own still.

I think the 800's are a flash in the pan fad as far as hobbyists go. I can't see that they are all that popular. I've never seen one at any flyin and most people seem to want to sell the one's they have. Of course, I've not been to every flyin on the planet! Lol.

I hear that they are currently very expensive to crash as its almost always a re-kit. They need to design one that takes crashes better. Not easily done I know but I'm sure the current owners will have a few suggestions.

I'm at max with my 500elf. The cost of the batteries become harder for me to justify. The 500 would have been out of the question were it not for Turnigy batteries being so cheap compared to others. A 550 might be possible but frankly I'm happy with Harry (500).

I, too, think companies should be thinking crash surviving smaller helis that are quickly field repairable. It's the durable little birds that let people like myself progress when moving a skill from sim to heli. Or those with no sim.

So is it a new heli? Or just a stretched beefcake version of the E720?
