  • Servos buzzing

This is probably a stupid question, but at 4.8v are servos more likely to buzz under load than at 6v due to less power?

The links on the fusion are still a little tight, but even with the blades off, the servos are buzzing and whining as if they were binding at centre stick. This is using a 4.8v NiCAD Rx pack for setup.

    Cheers!

I'd say they will buzz with 4.8 or 6V digi servos are noisy buggers and will sit there buzzing away even with no load on them.

The buzzing is just a digi servo trying to find it's correct position, so whether it's running 4.8v or 6.0v they are still going to try to find this position and buzz.

It'll be the same, different servos make different noises depending on the brand. Nothing to worry about either way...

The buzzing is very annoying but as long as they're not buzzing like a hive of bees then they should be fine, as said even when theres a small load on them its just trying to maintain its position..
