i would also check the con-rod in the engine as it may be bent

turning over a hydrolocked engine isnt going to do anything to your clutch.
Like electrisceadu says, your problem likely lies in your engine. Conrod is the first candidate. Incidentally my sister managed to do that in a fiat panda with a proper hydrolock, driving through a 'puddle'.

To me it sounds like the clutch had failed and then dropped into a place to jam up the engine.
Spent fuel in the exhaust is normal. I moved an old hattori pipe this weekend that hadn't been on a heli in over 6 months and it promptly spat old fuel all over the shop.
