For any one that wanted to set up a 500 cheaper we tried setting up our 500 on HS225BB on the head. They work really well but i dont think they have the holding power that the digital futaba 9650 s have, but check out youtube the vid quality is not to great. See what you think type this in Trex 500 Adie and Stu Smith 3d flight

Cheers Adie.
When I came in to the shop Saturday it was still part built on the counter. Glad you managed to finish it & get a flight or two in.
For anyone who doesnt want to search for the vid it is [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS7vmykCOTI"]here[/ame]
certainly looks like those servos would be enough for the less abled pilots in this community

Were gonna try some 9650 s next week so it will be interesting how much difference they do make. Were running x2 3s 2200 25c Tornado packs and flight power x2 3s 2170 packs which we were using in our 450 s. But there is a massive price difference between the two servos lets hope they will be worth it.
The HS-225MG is a couple of quid more £15.99@ for the metal gears
I'm thinking of using the HS-5245MG Digital at £23.99@ for the Compass Atom if or when it comes out
