I'm just starting to be able to do it with my 450, but I got a little close yesterday! Surprising how much of a knock it can take, not a lot of damage at all :-)

Well done buddy, it does leave you shaky sometimes, but that's the fun innit? I remember my first sideways flip, I did it, hadn't psyched up to it or anything I just suddenly thought 'bugger this hovering lark' and went for it. Back to hovering at the mo' as confidence is shot from not flying for so long. But it'll come back.John

If you fly the same or similar performance heli all the time, I think that it is a good thing for the first flight of the session, after an initial trim check etc , is to go through a set routine. This routine should include all the elements you have learnt recently. This way you maintain you confidence and wont make worrying moves become " bigger mentally" than they need to be. Just like learning to drive , if you don't like hill starts or mirror reversing you still have to do it, so practice .
Circuit to the right is a common thing a lot of average beginner struggle with as it's easy to become handed.
Once you've done the "revision" flight then the "brushing up on what needs more polish" and finally the"fun" or "new things" flight.
