Okay, now understand fully about the endpoints, only for correct servo movement equally +/-

However not sure what you mean
It should be possible to get the servo arm square by turning it on the output.
Also have the same idea I was thinking on the horn to drill a hole exactly where you need them.
I will keep trying it until I get it right!

Well on the servo you have a splined output shaft. So if you are using a cross or star shaped horn as in not a single arm horn then you have 4 different positions to try and 1 will be close to perfectly square with the servo.

On some heli's it needs to be parallel to the other control arm you are connecting to but mostly square is what your looking for.
The man that has never crashed a heli has never flown a heli.

Hi Ben, thanks for the input, have been to this site already, but the sets they sell all include the main shaft, that is another small issue I have, where I think the original shaft was used and there is a little movement in the shaft with everything set and tightened properly. Think it might need some shims put in to clear up the movement. I have however looked at the videos that Bob Finless has here on the site and also the drawings they have placed here with link length dimensions, I am looking at those as well.
I will keep trying it until I get it right!

set all the links the same length to start with

on the servo centering you have a few options
1 lazy method use sub trim
2 look on the back of the futaba servo horn and you will see a number or letter, get a hand full of servo horns and try a different number/letter until you get a good centre
3 use the solid disc horn and drill them at the correct spot for perfect centre
4 use the thunder tigre G4 servo horns, these will get a perfect centre

if you do use a std horn don't use the star shaped ones use the disc's pre-drilled or drill yourself type on the pitch and cyclic controls

on the radio i'd use the futaba 7c
            Hirobo Turbulence D3
            a bunch of bls servo's and a 701 gyro

Re-setting Swash to Hiller Assy Link Lengths & Center Servo Horn

Okay now have gone thru and found Type 4 Horn, (based on my photos below) to work, tried different positions and now looks good, did not take a photo after finding the good position, the type 4 horn photo below is before when I first started.

Working my way around the servos, the others are good, so now moving on the set the length of the links. I have started by using the Raptor SE Manual and page 45 shows a summary for all links.

Have started with the Swashplate to mixing link (Bell-Hiller mixing arm), manual says: page 31 that the links are 113.5mm total measured at center eye to eye. I have set mine at 112mm, now measuring the pitch and it is at 10°, have Throttle stick at mid-point (50) and all trim is centered and the swash is centered. This is confusing because I was convinced my Raptor was an SE 90 type, which comes with metal head as shown on the website. If there is that much difference because previous owner then upgraded to Kasama head instead of using the stock head for SE model. Can there be that much difference, do you think this is possible?

              Thunder Tiger CORP. -- Raptor*90*SE NO.4891

I am now going to take of the links for Swash to Hiller Assy and take them both down to 100mm and measure pitch again, will let you know what it comes out to.

Now finished with link alignment for the Bell-Hiller Mixing are, the final settings for length are 105.3mm for both, =/- a few .1-.3, was working back and forth between them and measuring the mid stick setting and very close to 0°, still a little tweeking to do, but looks very close now. Will have my heli club expert have a look next Tue and check my alignment, I am sure he will find something, but learning all the time with your help here and others that have responded. Thanks everybody for the advice and tips, feel much better and know more about this new Raptor of mine.
