Hmm, voted 3DMP, and N9, but without thinking, I officialy change my N9 vote to Blitz Avro, as they are lovvvvely.
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

        And a DX8 too

blitz avro is uk made heli, absolutely top notch quality wise by looks of it. designed ultimately for f3c but it can 3d they say. looks top quality whatever and a FULL uk model. no parts from abroad every part on the heli is made and designed in UK.

my vote was cast for the synergy, even though i have 2! if someone else is paying then send me more.

if i had to have another vote i would say the trex 500 (which i have ordered) and probably a vibe.

also whoever your shops were i think they will be getting a pre crimbo surprise when the kits drop on their door, align are usually on the ball and they know a crimbo release would yield more sales.

            cheers

Good point you raised there....so let me ask...

what's the diff between aheli that's 3D , Pro, Sport, and F3C ? these terms seemed used a lot ...even on Phoenix simulator I don't seem to see a difference in the same model even when there's a 3d, pro and sport version ??? There's a price difference but what am I paying for ?

the main differences are in the head setup. f3c pilots usually dull the flybar down by using different ratios and or flybar weights coupled to heavier paddles. stability is what they require mostly and 3d pilots want rid of it.

as for sport/pro differences the sport for example might use plastic parts in places and the pro would not. also the sport range tends to be thinned a little upgrade wise to ease costs for beginners but with the potential to upgrade a sport heli to a pro version later. this is applicable to just about every heli i have came across.

                cheers

Having had a close look round the Avro, it is gorgeous, so well built, totaly tuneable, with lots of nice touchs like a vibration isolated gyro platform etc, push rods are all 4mm pre set, only threaded where they need to be. Seeing it put through its pace's at the 3D champ, i WANT one, (899 for the kit is outta my price range though)

Hmmmm. I think I might be going to build an Avro. Phoned them up to discuss etc. and found out that Dave Fish (guy I had lessons with) flies the Avro Blitz and could totally sort it for me....plus I have to admit it....it does look fab

Anyone else build one/own one ? any idea's what spares etc. are like ? It's £899 inc vat from Avro.... is that the only place you can get one ? Any one had one cheaper ?

the avro is a stunning bit of kit without doubt BUT, synergys can be had for 599 quid inc vat just now.....give that serious thought if your in market for a 90.

                            cheers

Great looking heli and of course its UK but I dont see them advertised alot so I should imagine spares are a little harder to get than your average Raptor

you know were gonna need a detailed picture build if you go for it.

Anyone know anything about engines for them.... I'm looking at a YS91T .... apprently it's a well used and reliable workhorse.... How say you fellow pilots ? Good enough or would you personally choose something better ?
