Its in as a review in the Model Helicopter World this month as well and there is a very good write up on it , bit of a hefty price though.

Nope, its all bling in the Kit, a guy had one up OMHC on Sunday, it is stunning, and it flys well ( not that he would let me fly it ) well worth its 899 price tag, you can only get them from Blitz, and they will give you full spares support. Seeing it close up and nearly clubbing the guy over the head and running off with it, he had a YS91 in it, it went like an express train. WANT ONE.
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.
A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly
I would like to build the older JR Sylphide 90 such nice machining and very unusual set up in my mind
However as i voted from the list i chose the SDMP as again nice machining and different approach to most helis.
I like heli design that is out of the ordinary most heli's these days have the same layouts the same stacked frames same tail drives etc its nice to see things done a little differently,
i know you can only do things in so many ways but i like to be different
The Avro also looks interesting
Cheers
Now I know what Orvill the duck was on about!!!!
Heli Fleet So Far:
Lama V3 (out grown now)
Titanium Shogun 400 Heavily Modded (First proper Heli love to bits)(donated by extremely generous friend!)
Soon to be Hurricane 550 WooHoo!!!! (very excited!!)(Also donated by same extremely generous friend!!)
DX7 TX + AR6200+AR6100
Reflex Sim (not used enough)
in my opinion i found the synergy to be the best 90 size heli to build and most responsive in the air.
so while your waiting for the trex 500 to come out build the synergy

There seems to be 2 engines available...the YS91T and a Long Stroke version (which the chap said was needed only if you wanted 'mental' power ????)
Anyone care to comment ? What's a long Stroke and is there any point ? He advised I stay with the old engine as it was v reliable and bullet proof.

Hey Tean, close but wrong heli. I chose 'other' in the survey. What i'd buy if funds allowed is the Xperience3d, also called TZ90III 3D. (Actually Xperience3d and TZ90III 3D have slightly different parts) Looks very interesting 90 size machine 4.3Kg ready to fly. Similar to the post above^^. Check out www.xperience3d.com for pics...

Reason: Corrected some info
nice, some interesting ideas. but bending that frame in a crash will really hurt the bank balance? looks one piece to me...

This is an apple free zone
anybody can be an Arsehole, it takes real commitment, dedication and a whole lot of effort to be nice.

There is a small write up on the engine in the sales pitch in Decembers Model helicopter world , Motors and rotors are the only ones that stock it at £234.99 . Best suited to 8;1 or 8.2;1 gear ratio aparently...Prob more torque id think and less chance of blade bogging

Here's the leccy version. Details at http://www.heli-pro.de
Germany must have a very bouyant home market as they're making loads of stuff that they don't seem to feel the need to market internationally. Here's another one I like the look of: http://www.rc-tuning-design.com/0308...998087bf02.php
Apparently it goes really well at 4000rpm!
If it's free then the N9 and Trex500 would be my choice
If I was to buy another and assuming my Knights are OK
Then it would be a Trex600n or Trex500 (if the price was right)
Else I would replace the Knight with another Knight
