Saw young mr Roper fly a synergy at charmouth like he had stole it, very nice quality heli & to be honest theres nothing in your list that would tempt me away from this lurvely helli.

For me I like the convenience of plug and play with electric, so it would have to be a 'Rex. I didn't go for the 600 because of cost, but the 500 could be ideal for my needs.

I already love my 450 either round the garden, indoors or at the FF, so the 500 would be the perfect evolution.

Some interesting idea's ..... might go the the N9 then..... silly really...can't fly for toffee but i do like building them ... if I knew when the 500 was out (like in the next month) I'd order one and do a photo build ..... but i've not seen any confirmed dates yet.

That's the deciding factor not the initial kit cost

3DMP is a nice heli but the running costs are pretty grim if you bin it too often. 10/12s packs, poxy german servos as they are the only ones that fit plus german heli spares prices.

You can fit std sized futaba servos if you use the IC top chassis plates

Spoke to a couple of shops today..... they both reackon 500 won't show till next year. D'oh they should have gone for a xmas release...
On the flip size ..... there'a N9 for sale... so it's a hard choice.... N9 or a dirty weekend ..... ?? most of my weekends between now and crimbo are full of other crap

C'Mon....Rob do you know something ? Spill the beans .... pretty please I'd be miffed if I got an N9 and then a week later the 500 comes out.... By the way...the 500 is electric isn't it ? I've not seen a Nitro video yet.

I believe it will be out before xmas - potentially early december.

If you're very interested in the 500 and it's a toss up between that and something else, I would wait a little bit, personally!

and if I have 2 heli's she'll want 2 of something too....and her 'something' is normally way more than mine
