Here is a message from Curtis,
"We need all the Solid Gs presently on the market sent back to us for cleaning. We have found that the final cleaning step in the manufacturing process was not done properly. The result is some units can have small elements of solder loose inside the case that can short components causing it to fail. The cleaning process is relatively quick and easy but we want to do it in house to make sure it is done completely. Although this “cleaning” may sound minor we recommend not flying the Solid G again until it has been cleaned.
