I made this over the weekend testing it with the vibrator of my iPhone (measured to run at 10500RPM by the way).

So you have something producing a frequency of 10500 rpm which if I am correct is like 175Hz or cycles per second or revs per second. Nothing on the data pod display suggests that. Can you explain what is being shown in the photo and how it relates to what your phone was doing please? -

The vibration plot is from a Trex 600 nitro; not the iphone. The first peak is very low freq (heli movement), second peak 2048RPM (main rotor), then ~8000RPM (tail) and ~17000RPM (engine). There is a cursor that you can move left/right, unfortunately it does not show because it is flashing it happened to be off when the photo was taken. The numbers at the top of the screen show that the cursor is at 1948RPM (main rotor; the gov was set to 1950RPM) and the 102 on the right hand side is the amplitude of the vibration at that frequency.Originally posted by Andy from Sandy View Post

I was also just thinking about a Brain but cant do BMFA tests with it as its got auto level so thats out the window and this is back in the frame.
Looking good but I would like to see how it behaves in some high speed runs. Does it have any pitching up or purposing??
