Yeah, the Gaui seems to fit pretty good & the align airwolf is very good for the price, I've just acquired it per-built but whipped the gaui out to swap the tail servo over & neaten the wiring.

Will put up some pics later, got to test the Gaui in pod & boom setup first to make sure everything running smooth before putting back into the fuse.

Will be interested to see the pics mate. 500 sized based on a gaui will be nice and cost effective. And I guess I can use the same 2700mah 6s packs from my 500efl to save cost too.

I have a 500 size BO105 Fuselage in Red Bull colour scheme that I bought last year and it's in a huge box and I keep thinking "am I going to get round to putting it together or should I sell it".

My initial idea was to eventually get a 4 blade head and everything, and now there's the Align 4 blade head out for the 500.

It looks the biz, absolutely gorgeous paint job. The problem (for me) is probably that it won't be easy to carry around.

I'm just at that age where Airwolf was the big thing when I was a kid. Knightrider, A-Team, Airwolf and street hawk were the only TV programmes I watched at one point

That does look pretty good. OK it's not a perfect replica but most of them aren't. Liking the idea actually the more I think about it

one bit of advice on the align scale body
if it has pre-built wood work, strip it apart and re-glue it together
align is a little shy on the glue as my 450 ec135 found out, the pre-glued mounting frame seperated in flight and it poped the canopy off (no damage) and the mechanics twisted in the body causing damage to the back of the body (not good on its fith flight)
i'm awaiting some tail blades to get it back in the air now that the rear of the body is repaired
