I'm using a 9650 on the 450 se v2 trex with the standard motor & pinion.
iv'e not tached the headspeed but its well over 2000 more like 3000 but the highter I go on the headspeed the worse the wag gets.
The 600 has the 4 pronged futaba horn on it on the outer most hole.
I dont have the lead yet till Stuart closes the review thread & sends one to me

righto, couple of things here. measure the length of the servo arm on the 9650 you are using. the higher headspeed casuing it to wag more is prefertly normal as your effectively making the tail more powerful so don't worry about this. moving the servo hole in will fix this i think.

the 600 on the 4 arm the outer hole is going to be circa 16-18mm from memory......which is too much for the 600 in my own experience so it's just a setup we need to tweak here i think. the lead is not really important i was only asking as i could have sent you somethings to try but as i said you need to get the basics right anyway which we can do now.

measure both servo horn lengths and come back with the sizes.

i'm not familiar with the mini titan but i'll look into a rough HS your running if using the stock setup. a mini heli needs to be above 3000 ideally.

      cheers

let us know exactly the setups your running and we'll sort this out.

No your wrong my rudder channel was working the rudder in the correct sence left was left right was right.
I have the gyro flying now & I havent reversed the rudder channel but the gyro is fully functioning, albeit at an extremely low gain setting.
I follwed the instructions to the letter & went through the set up 5 times & it would always try to correct a nose right kick with a nose right correction.
I then tried the first bit of the set up as a right stick input instead of left & then all was well & it worked ok.

I am allready using the smallest horn I have & futaba make i.e the small futaba wheel how can I move it further in?

I will adjust the servo on the 600af to 15mm & report back.
As for the 450 the GY401 will be going back on it for now till I can get Ade or someone else to have a look at my setup but due to my remoteness to DMHC this is likely to be a while.

right, if your on the inner hole then you maybe seeing the slow speed with this servo coupled with a short arm making it even slower, do the opposite and try it then, put it out to the middle hole and re-test. what we need to find here is the sweet spot. the 9650 is a little slow and a point to note here is, the 401 has a delay pot on it for this very reason...effectively slowing the gyro down which works fine.

i understand your remoteness but i'm even more remote than you, i need to fix these things myself up here and i'm sure between us here we can sort this over forum or the chat if need be.

as long as the led is lit you are in HH mode, forget the actual number, it is of no interest really so long as it works.

            cheers
