Hey has anyone ordered a heli kit off here and had it delivered to the uk?

I'm thinking of getting a 500EFL pro and this is the cheapest I can find it. But I wanted to know if I'm going to get stung for VAT or any other duty.

Nobody can give you a 100% promise on that.

My one experience with them is that the kit arrived without any problems, but if you go down this route you have to take your chances.

I agree I have ordered stuff from them before and sometimes i get caught other times I dont same with Hobby King.

That's what I thought that it would be a gamble. But it's very tempting to risk it. It means I can get a spektrum beast x and the DFC for it with the saving mmmmmmmm

I ordered mine from Century-RC and they declared it at $30. It got pulled by customs and I had to pay £20 for a 700E v2 Super Combo

Ordered 3 kits from them,cannot rate them highly enough,ask for the free upgrade to dhl and delivery is quick.

They will sort the customs invoice for you and DHl are quick 3 days all my kits have taken posting to receiving.Dhl also process the declaration after the goods have gone thru Heathrow,they do not hold anything unlike ParcelForce.

What VAT? They have the benefit of trading from a location without sales tax (Hong Kong) so that is 20% right there.

Most people buying online in the USA don't pay sales tax either if they are careful to order from out of State and of course all prices in the USA are advertised before sales tax anyway which tends to confuse non-residents
