I am looking to buy a Tarot 450pro v2 FBL combo from oomodel, has anyone had dealings with them, e mail contact seems to be good, with quick replies.... but i would like to hear if anyones bought stuff through them, especially a heli.

All I will add is, be careful as a general rule when using couriers like DHL or Fedex etc. as they will always, 100% of the time declare the goods value shown on the package for VAT/Duty and add their clearance fee.

This is part of the service you are paying for to get the good cleared into the UK quickly. So the only way you will not end up paying VAT is if the sender makes a false declaration of the value. So while experience may show you that with a particular vendor it is 'safe' to use a courier, don't assume that this is true in general.
