Should i sell my trex 450 pro?

Hi guys, need some advise please. I was looking at getting rid of my 450 pro but am abit unsure about it. I really just have more fun on my 550, and find that i am flying it less and less. I bought it to build up my confidence on flying my 550, and try new things on the 450 first, but I now try new things out on my 550, so should i get shot of it? Has anybody sold theirs and regretted it?

Also finding it has lack of power and slow response times compared to the 550, and have set it up very twitchy. I could use the money to fund a nice new logo 600 too.lol

all i can say is i like mine and think i would miss it if i were to sell it but if you need the funds to do your other heli then go for it you can always replace if you miss it not so hard to get second hand has the logo

I love my 450 Sport microbeast, it's a little missile, use it in all conditions. Nothing that special, just a 3000RPM or so headspeed, ICE50 and rubbish batteries, but I would never get rid of it. Plus it's nice to have something to warm up on before getting the 550 out. It autos far, far better than I ever thought possible. It's a scream!

Couldn't say if I'd prefer it to a logo 600 mind you!

all I can say is ive sold 2 of them both because of "ill not be using it" got to say been very tempted to get another one and fbl it lol.

I sold mine 6 months or so back, and don't miss it one bit. It flew amazingly well, but I just fly the 550 more. I rarely used it at the field so it was pointless having it sat there doing nothing.

thanks guys, tempted to sell it i think. As it is a flybarred heli, and may buy another 450 fbl in the future. But i can hear that logo 600 calling me!lol

Nobody can tell you whether to sell a heli or not, only you can decide if you will miss it. I sold my 600esp and miss that as I've no big heli anymore. I'm hoping the 700e will replace it but I've been months without one now. Regret selling it really.

I dont really fly it much, if i had to take one heli to the field it would be my 550. The 450 is just sitting there now. My old man has a 450 pro too, so i could ask him nicely to spank his about, if i really wanted.

The other alternative is keep your 450 Pro but convert it to flybarless.

Sell it and buy more batteries for your 550, you will need them if you are going to fly it more.
I know where there are a couple of good batteries going cheap.

You already have a 550 V2 3GX,( Ooo I want one ) an mCPX, Logo 400Se on the go ? No brainer, sell the bugger and get more lipos for the 550, simples. Then again---hmm, 450's are cheaper than chips to fix though, decisions, decisions, oh sell it, you can always wreck your dad's when he ain't using it. He he he !

hehehe.lol. thats the plan. Thinks its pointless having 2 450's in one household. He's already said i can crash his about now he has bought a trex 550 v2 (same as me!lol). Could use the money towards that shiney new logo.....
