Thats true to an extent , but what if a linkage brakes or becomes defective or your transmitter goes mad, thats no ones fault for causing it but can still happen with unthinkable circumstances.

It could be and you would expect perhaps that at least one of the other 35 videos from that user might of contained a helicopter or two so from that point of view I can see what you are saying Andy but its largely irrelevant, the uploader may be claiming its something its not or its possibly someone else's video - Who knows ?

The fact is this is a reasonable result from an argument with a 450 (good reason not to fly alone perhaps). I have seen a TX sliced by an out of control 450 and it looked like a chainsaw had been at it - the owner was very lucky to escape serious injury.

You just can't imagine how much energy is in the blades - its tremendous !

oooorrr. could have been me the other day!
Was testing my N5 in the back garden after a crash rebuild, had it at half throttle 0 pitch on the ground,
as I did'nt want to fly/hover and annoy the neighbours I kneeled down level with the rotor to check the blade tracking
It was good, so I stood up, and "BANG" the heli jump and flipped over bits of blade flying everywhere,
Two seconds earlier and I could well of had half a blade inbedded in my face.
I've built and repaired loads of helis over the years but still missed checking the new aileron servo horn and screw was tight.
We all make mistakes and do stupid things. I've learn't my lesson and been very lucky, its also reminded me these things are not toys!

There is a huge army of people who make videos for YouTube as a way to make a living.

Just prove the events are connected and I will send the guy a get well card.
I mean, do you really think someone would bother to do that, make up BS like that, or do you want every flyer to video every flight just to actually catch the it when it happens?

So if you were the guy behind the camera you would of stopped filming or you would purposefully edit out the reason the guy is on his back?

Yes people do make up BS just to get their 15 minutes of fame.

Im sure if i was fliming his flight and then saw the heli fly into his head i would av dropped the camera, ran over to him and see if he is ok!!

I wouldnt just stand there flimimg it!!!

But it might not av even been filmed!!! The 450 heli on there might be a diffrent vid as when he got hit it might not av got filmed!!
