Thank's for posting this, it's a good idea to IMO, I think that it benefits all of us to have these reminders, especially in this case as it shows what a 450 can do..... and some people doubt me (with ridcule sometimes) that a 90 electric would take your head off.

These things are not toys, and I believe we should treat them, consider them and respect them no different than full size aircraft.

Makes me wonder why it's widely promoted (fun flys/some competitions) and considered acceptable (even cool) doing hard 3D 3-5 meters (or even closer) from the pilot at eye level, usually with 90 size helis... all it takes is a servo failure during tail in backflip.

The injury looks very convincing that it was caused by heli blades to me, no doubt in my mind this was the cause.
This sort of image should be printing on the box of any 450 model and upwards, a bit like they do with ciggaretts to warn people.

Regardless of whether people make grusome videos for money, In this instance I think the OP was putting the point across that our beloved helis are dangerous. I don't think anyone here would be trying to be a killjoy. We do get complacent when nothing goes wrong.

Remember that when you are at your favorite flying location, with people watching, its not just you that can get hurt, onlookers can too.
