Jr dsx 9 ii, diy throttle stick throw mod

What i did was make my own wedges to reduce the throw on the throttle.
i used 1.5 mm carbon trex 600 tail fin to be precise,
cut this into 25mm by 5mm rectangle drill a hole bag in the centre.
then place them in the spaces above and below the throttle mechanism as you will see the holes are already there to screw them down.
i used the two screws from inside the tx right at the top they don't seem to be holding much and i dint have any that fit lol,see picture.

go into the service menu and recalibrate the throws here is the link to do that it is easier than you think just read this info carfully and exit the menu how he suggests

Edit: as pointed out by turbod you have to turn on reduced throttle in the service menu before you calibrate the sticks.

I know but Tim was looking for some more.
He contacted me because on a old dx8 gimbal I had removed mine to make a bigger throw because I didn't like the short throw for smooth flying.

I didn't know about the reduced throttle option I will re do mine later thanks for that, seemed ok on Sunday though but I will be doing it anyway.

What is the advantage of doing this mod??

if you fly a dsx9 transmitter you will/should of noticed the deadness around mid stick.. this mod gets rid of that and makes the mid stick more controllable..in other words it makes the DSX9 PERFECT!!!

yep i do fly with a dsx9, but have not noticed a dead area...

TRY A DX7 OR EVEN A DX8.. Far more controlable around mid stick..
