Hey buddy.

I would imagine you should get an email soon as well, as yours arrived a couple of days after mine from memory.
Went out with the 700E today and its running well, kept checking the ESC after each flight but it was always what I would consider to be at an expected temperature.

I must admit though I'm not liking the current posts by Castle employees, the bashing of YGE and basically saying that controllers have a lifespan. If that is the case they better write in a flight counter so we know when to replace controllers!
Might get involved in these conversations when I am on a proper pc not my phone.

I think you maybe in for a bit of a wait, I'm up to 9 weeks now "Coolice" was sent a week before mine. I'm assuming castle are sorting it on a first come first served basis. We are talking HV120's though so the HV80 maybe a different matter.

Note people who sent gear to the States were sorted a long time ago

As Glenn has said above my 120 got to Belgium a bit before his, 2nd August to be more accurate and I received the replacement Friday, practically 9 weeks later!
The 80HV was recalled only about 4 weeks ago now but Castle have been replacing these quicker than 120's sent to Belgium. Having said this, going by the Belgium 120 turnaround time, I'm not convinced 80HV's sent to Belgium will be turned around any quicker than mine was.

I hope I'm wrong, Castle are up against things I know but the waiting times for controller replacements from Belgium is a joke! The Castle employees don't help matters much by not communicating the right information.

You're not far from me, where do you fly at buddy, not MK heli club is it?

I should of got my 600 for christmas and not my birthday in August. Its been sitting on my side for weeks now just waiting for ESC to finish the build.

I am not a member of any club yet. I have only just got into RC helis this year and have been flying my 450 at a local park and some waste ground near where I live. But I was thinking of join MK next year when when my 600 is up and running. Thats if I have got the ESC back....

Received an email from Castle today, my HV80 has shipped from the USA. This repair/exchange will have taken 7 weeks door to door assuming the post man doesn't lose it...

How was the ESC packed? some people are getting them back damaged as they are shipped in a jiffy bag.

The US customers are getting them back boxed with free kneck strap (probably to hang themselves with)
