I will respectfully disagree. The RMA number is on the outside of the package and even if it wasn't they still have to open it and do an initial processing to see if it is an HV80, HV120 etc or perhaps a repair unrelated to the recall so your package is put in the right queue. It only takes 10 seconds to click reply, type "Received today." and click send. We confirm all packages we receive usually within 10 minutes of them being delivered to us.
I am very understanding why it takes them long time to replace our ESCs and why there may be ESCs for sale at the shops whist we still don't have ours etc. but I hate being kept in the dark. And I am even more upset that tracking shows "A delivery was attempted for your item... If redelivery or collection is unsuccessful, the item will be returned to the UK" for almost a week mow whist castle made no effort to reply to my email let alone chase it with the local delivery depot.

Well I'm at 8 weeks waiting now and in all honesty am not happy!
I wish now I'd have given it to my sponsor as I'd have been sorted by now, but no I chose to send it direct and am left hanging as are a good few from the UK it seems.
I can see CC are up against it and have been understanding about this up to a certain point, but as a customer who had a faulty product not fit for purpose, to be left in the dark with no sign of an end is a bit of a joke!
In all honesty they've had a lucky escape as their not a UK based company where we could complain more I feel.
Hey-ho, wait some more! :-(

Recived an email this afternoon from Castle confirming my 'sales order'. PDF attached sales order says 'PHOENIX ICE 80HV to HV 2, 80AMP 50V, NO BEC, DATA LOGGING, EXTREME AIR BRUSHLESS ESC' Maybe a replacement is on it's way?

I've had that one a few times, I get stuff shipped to my USA based office all the time from outside the USA and USPS have a really irritating habit of trying to deliver to a business address on a Saturday which of course doesn't tend to work and on occasions they try at some stupidly early time of day during the week. But, in my experience they do always redeliver during normal hours on the 2nd attempt. Mine is still undelivered for nearly two weeks now and am getting unbelievably annoyed as it won't be long before USPS returns it to the UK. The USPS tracking indicates that a card was left so Castle are aware of it, but they made no effort to request redelivery or reply to any of my emails. If I wasn't working on the flybarless I would now be designing a competing ESC just to take vent my frustration.
