thanks for your repley but this was the best as i thought at the time when i decided to do electric convertion. i had nothing but trouble with the zenoah 29cc petrol i had in it so decided to go electric for less hassle and thought it would look more rellistic on spool up still using a clutch. its just a big risk i think having a 120 hv enclosed in a carbon shell thanks again jago

I can't help but comment that if he flew with a recalled product he was accepting the risk. And I've just seen a 700E have a slight 'in' when the YGE shut the motor down unexpectedly. (The YGE replaced a CC unit that went up spectacularly some time back.) That's the question, I have had my Kontroniks shut down in flight but I still had cyclics so just auto'd in. Did the YGE completely die not allowing for an auto?
Also is it the Align motor which for some reasons has issues with the Kontroniks so it would be safe to assume that the same issue could be there with YGE as we all know the rumors.
So just need to program the extra mode, I'm not sure with the YGE's as I not used them but the KT for example you have to program mode 10? As well.Last edited by Jamin_00; 18-09-2011, 03:31 PM.

hi ppl, i can't beleave the way there handling this, they should take some advise from horizon there grate at recalls, i sent my ice 80 hv back about 2 weeks ago, i emailed them last week for a estimated time, got no reply, relay wanted to know cos im converting my 450 pro to fbl and was going to borrow the 3gx out of my 600 if its going to be a wile. but dont want to canablise it if it wont be long, o by the way GIXERMAN it cost me £11 to send

I'd guess it's the 'stock' motor.]
While the YGE hasn't gone up in flames, it also hasn't given the guy a usable heli. From what you say, it sounds like the Kontronik wouldn't have either.
