Why not go for the 2610 as a get you by Tx, it is a very nice little unit (un biased as I use one of course) value for money and it will keep you in the air until your DX7 arrives, and they are half the price of the 2720.
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.
A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly
or if you get one from a dodgey bloke on the net make sure you get a good deal, or you know where they live (I can't remmeber that either)

I'm in Tableview.. well, Sunningdale, as Tableview has grown into a city of it's own now!
It's a small world. I moved into Table View in 1967 and stayed till I left for the UK in '99. I have a mate there still that was big into cars. He knows of a few hobby shops around. I can pm his number to you if you wish.
P.S. Have a steak at The Cattle Baron for me.
Castle BAron!? Where's that!? hehe.. Now, you would die if you saw Tableview.. it's massive! Where the old shooting range was?? I live there now.. It's a sprawling mass of houses. Bayside is maybe 4 times the size... Maybe more.. It's huge! Bloubergroud is more a CBD now than anything. All the houses are sold and converted into business. Houses start from R900,000 for a two bedroom upwards.
It's massive, and cool... But the people from the early 90's (When I originally lived here) have all moved on, and it's all strangers. But, the view still remains, as does the sea air, the holiday atmosphere.. all that. If you want photos of anywhere, tell me, and I'll get some taken and sent to you.

It sounds impossible, that it is now so big. You need to post a great picture of the mountain on a clear day. Is the RC club still on the road to Milnerton?
The club is there, tar runway and all, but it's currently under about a meter of water, as we had heavy rain a week and a bit ago, and the vlei now covers the runway. It's going back to normal now, but loads of mud.
Will get some photos. A bit cloudy and windy today.. tomorrow will be better.
