A model generally succeeds if it flies well and generally that is down to setup. Design a model that has inbuilt markers for lining things up (seem to recall Raptors having markers for setting pitch, I hear there is something on the 700e for setting up head), components that are keyed and once locked stay locked. Maybe something a bit more modular for upgrading, change of purpose

and it need to be good quality parts, so it last longer, no need to change parts for sport flyer.
and it need to be looking good. lol
and can it be a good price at the same time?

ive already got my perfect electric 50 well 2 actually the Fusion 50 so i have a flybarless and flybared as i dont have a flaybared heli and i just felt i needed to try it

As much as I like the look of the fusion and I have a velocity myself I am struggling to agree with your viewpoint here. For me the 6HV is still the best 50 size electric in class which again is obviously my opinion but I think to not even compare it in the same class as the fusion is just not being realistic.

Based on my experiences with mini protos, a 600 size protos would be great. But, Fusion 50 is very close! (I don't own it.. yet )

..it depends what you want from the machine: hard 3D (for those few who can); unboggable (for those who can't) or a cheap beater (for those who hope)

Nitro or electric?
esoteric: 18S 525 running on 6x2200 3S packs and with 500mm blades?
cheap beater: Already existed ..the twister pantera. That really should have done better in the market

The guy's philosophy was superb...built it strong and cheap and able to take a .90 if you really wanted...and at one time a 50% off second machine...even a snorkel for the air intake to trap mud and dust on impact. Looked crap.flew well..don't get attached you'll be rebuilding it :-)
