E-Bay Gyro Scam

Hi All,

This is a warning to you all.

I bought a Futba 401 gyro

Item number: 290545938202

I bought this dirt cheap and i though i got a bargain. I mate of mine told me about a scam he read somewhere, where people are changing the cases from a cheap HK Gyro for a futaba case and gluing a bolt inside the case to give it weight.

I checked mine as it was not holding as good as my other 401 and guess what I found, Yea a bolt glued inside the case.

Please beaware that we are being ripped off.

Look at this item and pass on the sellers name as a person not to be trusted.

you can report it to e-bay ---- take a pic of the item both with case on and with case open showing the bolt hot glued in, e-bay will take the case up and confront the scallywag, with proof....

Take it up with ebay...you should get your money back

I have taken a few pictures of the Gyro. I am rite in thinking that Futaba Gyro dont come with rusty bolts and sticky back foam inerds.

I have contacted e-bay and also the seller. I have copied his first reply to me and the others are in the same tone and manner.

He is still refusing to admit that he has been found out. Next thing for me is to contact Futaba UK and see if they can help and confirm it is a copy

You say you have a 401 on another heli.. get that apart for photos.. Contact futaba to see if they are watermarked as he claims (dunno what watermarks going to do.. its f*cking plastic! dickhead!) and whats CE etc etc got to do with it? Call his bluff.. contact Futaba!!!

Go straight to Paypal.. I hope your not emailing him direct but through ebay, so they can track the emails..!!

Hi All,

He keeps asking for pictures, but will not send me his e-mail address, he keep stating that there is a option to upload pics on the complaints page on e-bay, but I can't find it.

I have sent a copy of the pictures to Futaba support e-mail, but I think it is only for the US as Ripmax are the main Futaba importors and they sort their UK complaints.

I will be ringing them and also sending them a copy of the pictures.

I did not put the **** in the quote text this forum must be able to change rude words by itself. It is the full word in the original reply. Just hope that e-bay reads all the other ones that he has sent me.
