Stay positive Gareth, my friend beat it last year and is in good health now, my mother-in-law started her chemo two days ago and has been very sick for the last 48 hours too.

All the best and wishing you well for the future

My thoughts are with you Gareth.

I lost my dad to cancer 2 years ago at the age of 50.. and then my aunt a year later to the same desease. My Mrs family has had countless deaths from Cancer too.. she spoke to a cousin earlier today who may pass away today.. shes only 36.. its heartbreaking and tough fella.. I hope you pull through

About the insurance.. everyone is the same.. i dont need it.. it will never happen to me but thats why its called insurance.. its not assurance!! and they will always look back thinking why I didnt take it out! But thats each to theor own.. we can only advise people to do so.

I know of several people who have suffered this as well Gareth, one of which is a fellow flyer, he beat it and is getting back to his old self. Yes it will be hard, but never underestimate the number of friends out there who will be willing to help, and just as importantly dont be afraid to ask.
All the best and to you in this a difficult time.

Dont mean to take this down further but the Mrs just came home saying her cousins just passed away.. I was wrong, she was 32.

Cancer does not take everybody.. as before mate.. My thoughts are with you and wish you a speedy recovery from the treatment. It will make you feel worse at first but hopefully you'll pull through buddy!

Gareth mate, your not on your own mate, we are all behind you. On a positive note, my neighbour that was struck down with the same cancer as yours, was touch and go he'd make Xmas (old boy in his 60's), just walked down the road and shook my hand! We are all amazed at the recovery he made after going downhill so fast, and it's a tribute to all around him. It's moments like seeing him up and about again shows that you WILL see the other side of this.

and will i be putting a £1 in the bucket for Cancer Research..........................NO.............. ............It'll be as much as i can afford if it helps people like you mate!
If I don't reply, it's probably because I am lost in a Field somewhere!
