What tx to buy noobie

Says on this Phoenix flight sim a new window came up and said I have to have it set up for Phoenix in order for it to find and calibrate my tx. Dint have much time as I had to be at work, will have another go Tom.

I have my little honeybee at work as no wind in a factory, jeez does it get hard as it get higher. Not very much response from it when it all goes wrong. I think this Phoenix sims going to save alot of readies

The honeybee is a fixed pitch heli, so they are pretty rubbish response wise compared to a cp heli

8fg futaba, will work and not drop the link, although I think spec has gone over to the futaba style channel hopping system, so might be worth looking at

Get the Futaba 8FG and future proof yourself.
Pick one up second hand from Ebay if you can to save some pennies... its now 14 channels!

Not to get into a debate...Go read the problems some people have with the Spektrum gear. It's one of the reasons I stuck with Futaba and paid that bit extra for the 8FG.

Futaba all the way. Have a look at problems with Spektrum DX8, many moving away from it to Futaba.
Combo deal if you need the other parts included with it but tranny is the most important choice for now, buy the others later when you've saved up again.

I'm a futaba man, but my lhs has told me that spec have a new system that is the same type as futaba, so i wouldn't rule them out. I had a dx6i and had a lockout. But many people fly them without problems. The 8fg is firmware upgradable. The new release allows 14 channels but 2 are just on\off. Have a feel of all of them before u buy.

I have bought the futaba 7c £225, just needs setting up for Phoenix sim
