I cant do thumbs at all as I find I put to much aileron cyclic in when doing flips elevator tick tocs etc. To cure this I just rest my fore fingers above the sticks to act as guides & it smooths it all out nicely.

Kind of a mix between both, thumbs on top and finger pinching top side... with neck strap, only started flying end of January just done My 8th tank tonight and not crashed YET... It just feels comfortable to me.Comment

I started with Fingers and Thumbs despite being thumb only on planks.
But recently switch to thumbs only as I was starting to find F&T to restrictive and slow.
