I agree with Cuppa in that the MultiGov Pro works pretty well. No, you don't need a governor, but I like the constant headspeed, and temperature protection the Multigov gives.

I am pretty sure you can use the Multigov Pro without a 7th channel Waz.

Check the Finless Bob videos on Multigov Pro and I think he mentions it on there.

So you don't need to wait until you have upgraded your tx.

Yes you can use the MultiGov with 6ch. However, you can only set one RPM.

That's true, it is definitely very beneficial to be able to control headspeed remotely, but it might still be an attractive option and you can turn it off or on between flights quite easilly.

hi guys how yall doing?been flying in the sunny wether. i hope so. anyways I have a 700n and i dont have a governer installed simply coz i have dx6i .And i wanted to know if its worth getting a governer.I currently enjoy my flights but when i do fast rolls i notice that the blades bog a little. let me know if you have noticed any difference between flying with ot without a gov..thanks

Hi,I would get a better TX. I used to fly DX6i with CSM Revlock 20. The problems I had where 2 fold1) Running the Gov - at least a CSM revlock 20 - in manual mode would make the engine hunt and hence the tail kick. This is due to what CSM call responsitivity. The only way to adjust responsitivity manually is via the PC link $$. Running the RevLock 20 via the TX means the responsitivity can be adjusted on the board itself.2) The DX6i cannot mix throttle. It shows it, but as you have just experienced it wont do it. This is a feature and is confirmed by Horizon Hobby.Whenever you either Piro or Roll your engine will bog down and you will loose headspeed and the manouver will be twice as hard as someone running a Gov or who is able to add throttle mixes.If you only have the money for one change sell the DX6i and buy a DX7 (old style).CheersPaul
