If It was a package for the wife or girlfriend that was ordered, like a new pair of shoes - no one would have said a thing or even cared if it was a couple of days late, but as its YOUR heli that you cant wait to fly you go mad.. So what if its a bit late, we all get crap service from time to time, but its hardly worth arguing over it.. Just wait it out.

So you will send a van to my house pick a parcel up deliver it anywhere in the world & it will cost me about a tenner? (guessing thats just uk for £10)

erm if you wanted a saturday delivery it will be thats one of the problems with UPS they dont work saturdays

I know Shaun would be totally gutted if his did not arrive today as promised! I do think however, based on what was said above, that the Post Office coc*ed up on the reason for this thread.

Maybe we should ask all the model shops to use millerman from now on! At least then, if something goes wrong, we know where to find him!

I must say that parcel farce have been good to me. At least once it gets to our local depot they're brill.
The delivery guy is a sweetie that recognises heli parcels and if it's addressed to my business but he spots my car parked at home on his round then he stops to check if I'm in and leaves it there instead....also changes his route to drop heli parcels off first for me and if he's not too busy drops in to see how a build/repair is going

Yea maybe I did go off a bit strong on Aidi but for all this forums good points one of the things that I dont like about it is the willingness of members to put forward comments based on little or no knowledge regardless of the effect it may have on other people. If I hadnt said anything it might mean people are going to doubt my integrity in future.

nice thought but 2 problems with this there are 2 carriers in the uk that will ship fuel UPS and i beleve CITYLINK i have accounts with em but dont like em too much UPS's uk service is very good but a bad pricing structure

but 1 thing i can offer is a saturday collection to all model shops so you could do post on a saturday too and get monday deliveries to your customers wouldnt that be cool !!

Agree and if you think parcel force is bad, UPS IMO is even worse.

I never get a parcel that is coming to me from UPS on time

Guy your integrity is never going to be in doubt, I'll be the first to stand up and defend it. I fly at the same club as Guy (when I can get down there) and I have never seen nothing but help being offered from him.
