parcel force...parel FARCE!!!

well, you may have noticed that my new 500 should have arrived today, posted with the garanteed parcelforce48. when i tried to track it this morning (just out of curiosity) it was not even registered on the system and could not be found anywhere in the country. parcel force reponse...nothing we can do, not on our system, post office must have given it to mail rather than parcel force. (they are different companies!) post office response, its parcel forces problem. that leaves me with no new heli. it finaly turned up on their system two hours after the latest time it should have arrived. it had travelled 7miles from its point of posting. should be with me somtime next week they say. parcel farce i say.

You dont know anything about it, I wanted to book a courier on Tuesday afternoon, I texted dog biscuit to get his address, (before he'd even paid for it) but he couldnt get back to me til after they'd closed for the day.
As he wanted it quickly I told him that I'd go to the Post office on my way to work in the morning.
I did just that and after standing in a queue for 20 mins it was passed over the counter at 09:56am, I told the woman I wanted it sent Parcel Force express 48, she filled out the paperwork and I saw her stick the barcodes on. She then gave me a reciept with a tracking number which I texted to the buyer at 10:02am. I have the receipt and phone records to prove it!

When the OP texted me this morning to say it hadnt arrived and the tracking number didnt work I left my office and drove all the way to the post office, I spent 25 mins in there requesting information but they couldnt help and just kept refering me to Parcel Force customer relations.
After half an hour on the phone to them I managed to get through to the Dogbiscuits nearest sorting office in Crewe and managed to persuade someone to go round the depot and physicaly look for it.
After nearly 45 mins on the phone they told me it wasnt there and I should go back to the Post office. I drove back there and had a big row with the manager but was told I had to wait until 3pm before they could look into further as the parcel left that Post office at 3pm on Wednesday and that was when the 48 hours starts.
I kept DB informed the whole time.
I left work early and went via the Post office again and asked if there was any new info but was told they couldnt find any record of the parcel other than the forms filled out when I posted it and the collection forms.
I rang DB to ask if it had arrived and as it hadnt I called Parcel force again and they managed to tell me that it was now in their system and that it left their sorting hub in NW London at 2:30pm today, they also informed me that the tracking number was now working.
I called DB again and let him know the latest news & that PF were planning to deliver on Monday!

I paid £13.35 for a 7kg package and asked for it to be sent Parcelforce Express 48 as agreed with DB and I handed it over the counter 4 minutes earlier than I said I would. I'd insured it and told DB that if it hadnt turned up by the next working day (Monday) I'd give him his money back.

HOW THE HELL IS IT MY FAULT!!!!!!

Yea he's been pretty good about it but it's idiots like Aidi want to come on here and slag me down when I couldnt of done any more.

I almost dragged the manager of the Post office over the counter as it was, and I caused such a scene that the staff there were threatening to call the police if I didnt leave.

I dont know what more I can do?

Royal mail sucks
I own a uk and international courier company I could have had your package collected from you delivered next day for under £10 and you could have tracked it from pick up to delivery
Do me a favour don't use the poncy post office use me !!!

just to definately clarify, this post was meant to only highlight the inadequaices of the parcel force service and no blame whatsoever was being put on the sender at any point. sory guy that you had to get involved.

If you actually read the original post, it makes no mention on who posted it, so my comments were not pointed to anybody in particular.

Too many times i have been in the same situation, and everytime it was when buying from a shop, and they say they have posted it and clearly they hadn't, so that is where i based my comments.



But you know what, i really couldnt give two tosses about **** all at the moment..

Maybe you will learn your lesson for your next problem. Hopefully we can all get over gate88 outburst & have a laugh about it next time at charlton with aidi DB

Humm try counting to 10 Aidi's post was misguided to say the least but responding withe profanity is no excuse , I know its so hard when you have done your best the post was about Parcel force not you so don't turn it in to one about you, have a coffee one me (not mat) and calm down I suggest you edit your reply to aidi.
