cost of crashing a trex500 ?
can you give me a rough guide to what it costs each time you crash your trex500. i have damaged the blade400 5 times while learning, and although i have now not crashed for some time, i am sure it will happen again a few times if i buy a trex500. thas cost from £15 to£30 each time. normaly near the lower end. how does this compare to the 500?

My last 2 crashes in the last month have cost me £120 and £90 respectively. These aren't using expensive blades either. -
about 80 quid usually sometimes less if im luckyComment

wow. thats a big difference to a blade 400! and twice in one month.

Like the MasterCard ads - cost of crashing a trex 500... Many pounds. Cost of buying copy of Phoenix flight sim... Priceless!!
Of course this doesn't avoid expensive crashes but definitely pays for itself very quickly.

Even the same crash on different days can be 2 totally different figures 
I reckon a good average for a 500 is probably £100 though, I have a fair few to average

I should add a little balance here lest you be too scared to buy the 500.
I have had about 50 - 100 flights on my Trex 500 and the only damage has been a stripped servo gear when it tipped over awkwardly after an auto. It cost £3.
Crashing is not obligatory. The 500 is a lot easier to fly than the Blade 400.
Even crashing the Trex 600 has never cost me more than about £80.
