Its concerning to read statements with "its what most people are thinking", "they say", "others reckon" when if the truth be known they are nothing more than false generalisations. I.e. its just the poster thats thinks this way or has that opinion. A cheap way to dramatise I guess.

I'm not surprised Ade has gone back to the Knight either and good luck to him. seven figure marketing budgets do not make the best heli's. Having said that, I dont see Align in competition with Compass. Its TT V Align so let them battle it out.

Furthemore, Compass are growing week by week to the degree that they sometimes can't keep up with demand. This is not down to producing a crap heli.

Its also interesting that this is the only forum I can find where there is such stigma and negativity towards this Heli? I can't help but think that this could be down to the fact that Ade flies one and speaks highly of it.

Its everyones god given right to choose to fly what ever heli they friggin well want. I've made my choice and in the main, its down to the same reasons others prefer theirs.

Lets give the guy a break and let him fly and help people on this forum like he has done so well for so long.

This tells me two things

No 2 crashes are the same

and

Align do indeed make their helis out of Dairylea

I have yet to crash any of my Aligns but when i do at least i get 2 of most things so its a have a crash and get a crash free situation


Apart from my 2 inverted landings that were totally undamaged but i dont like to brag

The problems i raised with my Sports were genuine problems that Compass admitted to,,they have been fixed,,am i knocking them now?,,have i not stood up for them?

I never had a vendetta against anybody,i was simply posting that i was having probs and nobody would accept there was one at the time

I moaned a bit about my Revolution Lipo for the 600 not being as good as my Thunder Power one,i was questioned about this and the Lipo went on to fail inflight in front of several witnesses,the Lipo was returned and the manufacturer has said it was faulty from new,,in both instances i was proved correct in the end

If people listened sometimes they might sort things


And to add,just because Ade is flying Knights again,doesnt mean i am going to moan about them as was suggested,indeed i am very happy now the issues have been resolved and i have recommended 3d`s to more than one fellow flier

I'm pretty sure I didn't do any mocking with regard to the lipo experience, I did ask some sensible questions to try to help diagnose. I'm not sure I remember anyone mocking you on that one but willing to be wrong, it has happened in the past

Ade, it is good to have you back and its always entertaining to read the comments. Now I'm sure at this stage I should be expected to come out with some line about how this definitely proves one models superiority over another...

... however, as Paul sagely points out, people find different helicopters more comfortable than others for a variety of reasons. That does not make it definititively better than others, just that pilot prefers it. There is no question that the 600N is an exciting new model and will surely trouble the big boys and will have a strong following, for good reason.

For our part, it is very simple; we are pleased that customers are enjoying the Knights and we look forward to continuing to support them. We do not feel that other helicopters are inferior, we would just like to ensure that when a person buys a Knight, that we look after them and they get the value and performance that they expected.

Now lets get back to giving Ade a hard time

Ade left compass for Align,
Align stuff is made from moon cheese substitute only weaker
Ade went back to compass
Knight's are great
600n's fly ok, but are weaker than soggy paper.
Everybody love's Sceadu's ( un biased opinion)
The Log cutter got another mention
Shuttle's are still lurrrrvly ( even if bit's of mine are on the bay)
People Enjoy slagging off Ade
Ade just gets even
