I think Ade should be given the benefit of the doubt and remember when he was asked how good it was virtually as soon as he had got it built ? The answer was that he would prefer to give it a good work out before commiting himself one way or the other, how many other pilots would have simply said it was the dogs danglies ?
I believe his intentions are for the right reasons but I'm only going on what I have read on here over the last couple of years having never actually met him. It seems there's a bit of the old british 'build em up then knock em down' mentality going around and I would think he isn't arrogant enough not to blame himself if he was at fault and not the heli.
