This all started way back in April at Charmouth, ever since then Ades hormones have been up the swanny and hence, in a moment of madness, he decided to go and fly Align, a line of models he's always had it in for.

Disc will always jump in and stone the Knights

Raptor50luver can be unpredictable and you're never quite sure which model he's going to support or have a pop at.

and I couldn't really care less, just like a good healthy debate, they are all pretty much equal with their good and bad points with the exception of the Trex V2 which is the bollocks.
    Clones are bad

    .... that includes Align ones

The same sort of thing happened a while ago in the rc truck world, traxxas were the dominant force who brought a good, dependable desing to the masses much like TT & the raptor, then all hell broke loose and several companies like HPI, TA & others upped the ante coming out with superior designs and nothing happened from the original forerunner for a while and people were writing them off left, right and centre. Then they pulled a new model out of the bag unexpectedly and pretty much re-wrote how to design a truck and the thought that had gone into it was simply stunning.

All I'm saying is don't write TT off, they deserve the critisism for not improving the raptor but you never know what they might have up their sleeve thats been kept hush hush. We all might be singing the praises of TT's new Heli this time next year. Might sound a long way off but just think how fast the masters has come round again......

                  Trex 700

Light travels faster than sound, this is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak....

Regarding Aligns limited model range, they only made washing machine & deep fat fryers around 3 years ago and have already been through numerous iterations with the 450 (okay, it had plenty of fault which needed sorting!). The 600E has been a real big seller, the 600N can't hit the shops fast enough for the demand and we should be seeing a 500 and 700 this year. The design of the 600E/N head is light years ahead of the TT Raptor, it has more agility and stability plus increased precision. I bought a TT E550 with the intention of sticking it in a fuselage but wasn't prepared to run the cr*p stock headblock as I was looking at 2000+ rpm. In the end I spent £125 on a Kasama head from the states (although its made in Taiwan ) as it's had good reports and the price is very competitive. I have to say I was very surprised at the E550, although its heavy, around 50g less than my 600E, it performs very well and the Kasama head is a vast improvement, its just a pity TT don't seem to be prepared to do any serious revision of the Raptor range.

I would be very worried if I was TT because Align seem to be determined to steal more and more of their market share, kit prices may be becoming comparable but if you take a serious look at spares prices, Aligns are around 50% of TT's prices so you get a heli that flys better and costs less to repair plus they react much faster to design faults.

Think I will stick with Hirobo
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

                          And a DX8 too

They fly fine - it's the crashing that sucks
Hirobo frames (Evo) are stupidly weak and unless you get very lucky, they will break in a crash.
Obviously, the answer is to not crash

                                Cheers,
